USING YOUR CHURCH'S ACHURCHNEARYOU PROFILE AS YOUR CHURCH'S WEBSITE
Every Church of England church already has a page on AChurchNearYou and each church can embrace the functionality provided by AChurchNearYou; churches can add photos to a gallery, post news and notices, add events and services, and their own pages too.
Feedback on current functionality, and requests for new functionality from our editors and from the public is what drives forward AChurchNearYou feature addition and amendments work.
Many churches now want to use their AChurchNearYou profile as their main website to save money on redesigning their website, save money on their web hosting, and save money and mitigate risk securing their website.
Many churches also wish to make sure that visitors to the church's domain name (the www. address) arrive on their AChurchNearYou profile. This is possible using a process called domain pointing or web forwarding.
AChurchNearYou does not charge churches to use their AChurchNearYou profile as their website.
AChurchNearYou sits behind three layers of security.
When you're ready to point your church's domain name towards your church's AChurchNearYou profile just follow the instructions here: https://www.achurchnearyou.com/custom-domain
