During the Christmas season the Christmas tag is included in searches by default. This means that your search is filtered so that only churches which have tagged Services and Events with Christmas are shown in the search results.
You can remove the Christmas tag from your search at anytime to see a full list of churches.
The video below shows you how to search AChurchNearYou and how to then perform a search without the Christmas tag.
The project team are aware of an issue affecting some Microsoft Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge users whereby removal of tags isn't always possible. They'll be working with the developers on this. In the meantime, you may wish to try another browser such as Google Chrome (https://www.google.com/chrome/), Mozilla Firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/new/), or Opera (https://www.opera.com/).
If you are the editor of a church, and you like to add your Christmas Services to AChurchNearYou then this article: https://achurchnearyou.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/360012765294 will walk you through what to do.
More on: How to search AChurchNearYou
You can search AChurchNearYou for churches using a postcode, church name and location, a village, city, or a town.
Simply open your internet browser (eg: Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox etc), and visit AChurchNearYou.com.
Then, in the Location or Place box, type a postcode, for example SW1P 3AZ, or a location, for example Beeston, or St Mark's Church, Leamington Spa. A list of locations will be displayed, usually the top one is the option you want so click that location, then click the gold arrow to the right and the results displayed.
If this doesn’t work for you, you are welcome to contact the AChurchNearYou Support Team for further guidance.
